South Korean women's singgels, An Se Young was the last to withdraw due to injury at the Denmark Open. Appearing in the final against Akane Yamaguchi she won the first set 21-18 before losing 23-25.

In the 3rd set, An Se Young withdrew at 5-16 down due to a thigh injury which made her performnce sag markedly. Concerned, he received a red card for talking to the clinical tim without Umpire's permission.
